Full beams won’t turn off

Hi! I’ve just replaced the battery in my clio and the full beams are on all the time so I’ve had to disconnect the battery again! Any ideas?

All the time? Even if no headlights are on ?
Tried to move the left lever (like turning on and off) ?

Yep constant, even with key out and car locked, have tried all variations of light settings

Just a guess, but could be UCH?

If that's the case, i guess you have an issue with your stalk, taking it out is only 2 screws with 2 wires, something to try i guess, easy access.

Disconnect the headlight stalk and see if that cures it. If it does they’re only about a tenner on eBay
