Full respray and help..

Car  Citreon C2 VTR
Hi, Ive got a C2 at the moment and its for sale.. Im looking at getting a clio but dont know what model to look for, my C2s a 1.6 so want something similar.

Also how much would a full colour change respray cost?? roughly

Cheers x

Welcome.

Just wondering really why you want to buy a car & get it resprayed ?? Seems odd to me. Just look for a car in the colour you want.

Resale value will be loads less on a resprayed car. So with that in mind your probs best of looking at a cat D repaired car & respraying that, as they are worth less than non cat D cars anyway.

I'd go for a clio 172/182 depending on your budget.

Depends really, my mate does resprays to factory standard. Standard colour £800 full colour change £1200+ depending wat ur after

Thanks for replys

And i want a respray cos im in love with white cars.. and I understand that they dont come in white??

The lower spec clios sometimes do, but not the 172/182s, no.

Have a look at Autotrader to see what model variant would suit you, and then look for a white one :)

will do thank you, i like the 172 though and it would have to be all white.
Im not sure why they'd loose value though. Surely if you get it done professionaly and get the log book changed then no1 would even know the difference anyway?
Anyway im not really doing it for value, just want a car to enjoy.
My C2 and me dont get on.

people will know it has been resprayed as it shows up on HPI, and also if you go with a non original colour then its fairly obvious

All depends on quality and on the photos you take when you advertise it. If it looks good 90% of people won't care, especially if you're open and say it's been professionally resprayed.
