Fullrun tyres? very cheap

  Clio 2, 1.2 16V
Fullway not fullrun, typo in the title

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180990063974

185/55VR15 FULLWAY HP108 XL 86V 1855515 185 55 15 4 X CAR TYRES
£138.00 + £9.00 P&P

Anyone tried these? Thinking of getting them they're seems to be very few 86V rated 185/55R15 tyres out there

This:

Hankook K115 Ventus Prime 2 Hankook K 115 - 185/55 R15 86V XL TL

or

Falken ZE914 Ziex Ecorun Falken ZE 914 - 185/55 R15 86V XL TL

?

Edit: Google is already returning this thread in my search for Hankook K115 tyres, it took them less than 8mins to update its database. I find that impressive.

Check the reviews out here..

Both of the above are just mid-range tyres, much of muchness really. I personally would just pay for decent rubber, can't put a price on safety and at the end of the day they're the only thing between you and the black stuff.

If you want to find a ditch at the soonest wet corner, fullruns are for you.

Stick with Hankooks/Falken/Uniroyal in that budget. Much better tyre.

Welcome to yesterday.. --->

I'm hung up on the 86 load rating, the H speedrating is in the manual, but the load rating isn't.

I found that in the tyre pressure section.

This shipped with continental tyres, premium contact 86V, so unless i can get some official renault document to state 82, i'm sticking with 86

So you're going to go with Ditchfinders because Renault doesn't say something so minute.

Bravo, you won't last here long (or anywhere with those tyres).

I love the fact you're looking at getting Fullrun tyres yet it shipped with Continental tyres, how does that work?

thread + palm + face = ???

The difference is only 55kg!

I don't care about Continental, probably trying to get rid of tyres which weren't getting sold fast enough.

Just get the full runs, it's a 1.2 and he sounds sensible, hardly likely to be thrashing it to its limits of grip.

Gents, no matter how many times you tell someone something, they'll never listen. Let him buy the ditch finders.

At this time of year a set of uniroyal RS2 in 195/50/15 is a very good option for sensible money.

But on the other hand on a 1.2 daily that gets driven sensibley I would happily have any tyres that are legal TBH

My mate had some awful budget tyres on his 1.2 earlier in the year on 185/55s ,

If your a careful/sensible driver it wont really matter as they do the job, but if you sometimes find your self next to a chav in a corsa and think to yourself "im gonna do him" get some 195/50s that are half decent as you will either end up in a ditch or central reservation (as my friend did - idiot that he was LOL)

Saving money or saving lives - depending on how you drive - its up to you !!

But doesnt really sound like you care that people on here are genuinely trying to help with your query and get you some decent rubber for a price you can afford

I do care, now i'm looking at one of these.

Hankook K115 Ventus Prime 2 Hankook K 115 - 185/55 R15 86V XL TL
Falken ZE914 Ziex Ecorun Falken ZE 914 - 185/55 R15 86V XL TL

They were both rated C for rolling resistance and B for wet grip

If 195/55/15 will fit your car Id get the Neuton NT5000 tyres, Ive got them on my 182 for winter use and a Euro trip I did and they're surprisingly good for the money in wet and dry...

Why skimp on the one thing that connects you to the road. If a kid steps out in front of you and you can't stop because you have s**t tyres and its wet, your going to wish you hadn't been so tight over 20 quid a tyre.

I couldn't agree more!!! That's why I went with the Neuton's, the ratings of this tyre are fantastic for a budget tyre, especially if your pockets aren't very deep.... I think if anyone is reluctant to spend less than £200 quid on 4 tyres for their car then they shouldn't even run a car and just use public transport......!

Just bought a set although I am having second thoughts and might get some winter tyres instead, with these double digit winter temperatures etc.

Sorted.

Hankook Ventus Prime 2 K115
Rolling Resistance C
Wet Grip B

Almost purchased Continental Premium Contact 2, but I resent them too much for making me put on 86 tyres.
