funny whining sound from bonnet

hello when i twist the key but dont start the car, there is like a whining sound coming from the bonnet but i dont know where abouts, sounds like it could be some sort of electrical fault, any help? thanks

no mechanic but I think thats the fuel pump but not 100% on that its normal anyway (sounds like a alarm)

mine does that. Does it whistle when you rev? and try turning your lights on and off as you rev and see if it changes the whistle.

Mine doesn't do that bud only whistle I get accelerating hard think that means my cats fucked though!

I can confirm the whining noise is coming from the throttle body. what does this mean? and what do i need to do to get it fixed, is it still ok to drive? Also when i press the accelerator when i turn the ignition on the whining noise changes pitch , cheers
