garage quote too expensive ?

next week a new set of wheels will be going on my car

rims only its swap with the tyres off my old wheels at a garage

they quoted me £40 to change then

is this a lot of not ?

Remove 4 tyres, refit 4 tyres, new valves, balance, dispose of old tyres....

That is definitely cheap. Possibly could make it cheaper by removing the wheels at home and taking them in but then you are causing yourself more grief.

Been quoted £25 a corner at kwickfit before so that is very cheap compared.

I now do mine myself for free so expensive compared lol.

Mine was done at kwikfit for £40. They originally quoted £60 but I know them fairly well
