Gash car... but nice headlights?

This car is gash, ridiculous spoiler, pointless LED "styling strips" but the headlights caught my eye! Do they have a black backing rather than a grey backing? It could just be the picture but they look different anyway!

thats standard lights on a 172 but mates are black and his is 1.2

Ahh didn't realise that the non-projector lights were any different from non-sport lights!

All pre 2004 cars had black headlights. Later ones only in Dynamique spec. 172 ph2s had black lights but xenon. 182s had the grey ones with xenon.
Much prefer the look with the black lights.

Mine is a 2004 model (54 reg) 1.2 dynamique, with grey backed lights... is that right? haha

Chrome ones are the late campus models. Don't know how the cars are spec'd in UK but in Germany the dynamique models always had the black lights.
