Gaz Gold coilovers

There's very little difference inside the units to the cheaper stuff, just a 'better' piston ring to stop it squeaking so much. No mention of what spring rates either.....

  lift number 1 @ btm
i had a set of these a long time ago.
they were ok, very crashy on the road but better on track.

however, the rear springs collapsed twice (i think they now use a different spring) and before long all of the plating had rusted off!

considering that they are over £800 now i would be looking elsewhere.

From what i gather on the spring rates, you can request what you want, free of charge, if available. I am not the biggest fan of Gaz, but like the adj height and damper of the Gaz and the fact its one of the few kits made for the 182 cup.
I am liking the KW coilovers, but they dont make for the 182 cup, and cant seem to find H&R's anywhere.

i needed new bushes in the rear shocks within a year, and also the front adjustment rings siezed up despite being lubed every few months

never again

i also had different spring rates than the ones they were going to come with, and they were still too firm for road use, dont bother
