only power figures i can remember was mine 182bhp, jph172-182bhp, zorba-176bhp, mine and jph172 being the winners of the day, beating the 182 boys but obviously not the vee thats in a league of its own, although it pushed 235bhp but that wasnt right seeing as they never put the fan in the right place had it at the front of the car rather than the side air intakes

Andy checked my car 3 times and found it to be 179.9 BHP

and all i have is a ITG panel filter which Andy said that they are very good.

so all you guys that got them from the group buy they must do somthing to gain 1 or 2 BHP???

was a great day and really learnt alot........................thanks again ANDY and GDI crew!

yep i appologise mate just checked myself, my mistake it is 179bhp in standard form,

funniest moment of the day was when me zorba, brian and jph was checking out a scooby wrx sti at stansted services saying how much of a nice car that is full exhaust system the works then a 90year old man presses the blip and jumps in we were like wtf, was in stitches,

True who does care whe the Vee wipes the floor with every other Clio fiqures dont mean a thing,
and RR is a pointless exercise really. ( but a lovely day out )

Could have had something to do with not being able to get any traction on the rollers, it can only be used as a comparison anyway cos we all know rrs are not totally acurate dont we

My V6 was much the same at last months AMD RR; I got 225bhp at the flywheel, but this was with a very high loss rate (my gearbox had splintered ball bearings in it) and very warm air being sucked into the induction kit....

...Im guessing Id be pushing 500bhp easy with the right setup

fan was at the front for the RADIATOR!!!!!!!!! to keep the engine in 1 piece..... might have gained a couple of BHP with another at the side, but the air was cool and it was not loaded for long periods and the air was being drawn in from outside the bay.... its not going to get much better...

when wayne comes down for his "tinkering" I will take a before and get the other fan out just to keep gunner happy..... (it was a good figure for that car)... the more powerfull a car is the more the power can vary from std... the 182s were all over the place as well... one kicked out 156 and we checked it twice!

LOL !!! well what a surprise - you complain about everything else (certainly on CS anyway - and complaining is one of those things that sooooo easily becomes a habit I have noticed), so guess you would complain about this however, I have other things in life to think about - ask the guys who went out in it if there would appear to be a problem with the power the car puts out on the road

Well Im not sure how your RR was setup, but at the AMD RR, they had the passenger door open, so the warm air from inside the car was being directed straight into the cold air feed....

....thats got to make some difference, considering normally (at the time of year) youd have 5 degree cold air being forced into the vent (and therefore the cold air feed) at quite some rate!

My car had a massive dip in the midrange power, and I dont think the above could have helped.

A lowly 130 at the fly, car isnt running right tho, its overfueling like mad. Least I know what the problem is now, dodgy lambda!
