GDI !!!

Had my car serviced (minor) at one of those chain garages that specialise in exhaust, tyres etc. (wont say which one but you can probably guess). They had trouble with the sparkplugs and the monkey they got to do it claimed the plugs were crossthreaded in the head. I was of course gutted and well annoyed that i took it to such a bunch of ******! So it was immediately booked into GDI to fix the problem. Andy managed to get the plugs out no problem and changed a load of knackered parts. Gave my car a good going over and now it runs so much better!!! I was braced to spend £1K so a bill for 200 quid was a surprise esp. as my car is now running so sweet! Moral of the story is only get your car serviced by someone you trust will do a good job and knows the valver well! Cheers Andy!

Spark plugs, dizzy, rotary arm, HT leads, oil, coolant and a good going over my car to find anything else thats going to need doing soon. Car was running ok before but was a little hesitant. Now it picks up cleanly and throttle response is sooo much sharper! Feels like i got at least 15 bhp back. They have worked on so many clios now they really know there stuff. If you are thinking of having something done give him a call as hes well helpful

Ive done all that myself bar oil and coolant, hopefully one of my mates will be able to assist me on that.

I wish I had the time (and tools) to do alot of things on my valver. Still getting other people to do it all for me gives me more time to enjoy the weekends and get out on the top roads around cambs!
