Can you lower the plastic bit that the leather attaches to.

Went for blast in car came back and gaitor had pulled out of console, on close inspection broken 2 tiny lugs, so glued back on, re fitted.

But notice when you go through gears leather seems very tight, almost pulling out of console.

Is this normal??????????

Thats normal you could strcth the bits and pices so it not as tight but its not much better.
A new gaiters about £15 I think.

This happened on my 172, i took it back and it was fixed under warranty.

my new gaitor from renault was 4.77 and took about 2 mins to fit. probably wont do it under warranty if its older than 12 months as its interior trim.
