I know this will sound like the most stupid question ever but ... Driving last night my gear gair came loose from the bottom so no it isn't secured down and moves as i change gear, i've tried clicking it back in or something quickly but it won't stay in, any help/ advice is apreciated.

common fault! buy a new one or but a screw in it! (creating a new tab)
