Gear Knob Removal on Cup

Anyone done this WITHOUT wrecking the original. Tips and advice appreciated.

mine was sorted last night. Pair of maul grips beneath the knob and just hit it a few times...this was when the whole thing was out tho....

dont see how to do it without damaging the original. i got to work with a hacksaw baby yeah!!

Good idea Chris. I just tried with plyers to swivvel it and it was having none of it.

Can you get it out without taking the knob off?

hacksaw not an option David! lol.
