Gear Knob

Hey, this is my first post.

Can i remove the top of my gearknob for spraying? I just mean the plastic "cap" on top of the gear knob.

The previous owner has left it looking sad lol

Help would be gr8ly appreciated

Not sure if this helps you, but I have just got myself a shiny new MOMO KNOB....on "dismantling" my old one I noticed the top just popped out.
So to answer your question ...YES you can remove it....respraying it should be a simple task, just putting the numbers back on might be a tad tricky.
USe a thin flat head screw driver and the top just pops out.

Not quite sure what u mean by the numbers, i assumed the top was a just once piece of plastic.

Any idea's what colour i shuld spray it? I have a red and black interior.

Yes, you can pop the cap off and respray it if you want. Just get a flat end screw driver to pop it off if your nails aren't long enough!

what I meant by numbers was.....in my cup the gear numbers are etched on top....i.e 1st 2nd 3rd etc etc...thats all

in the mk2 ph2 the numbers are moulded in the plastic cap
