Gear Knob

Is it possible to change the gear knob on a Mk2 Phase 1? If yes any suggestions on the most appropriate products.

Im pretty sure its glued into place, want to change mine also as its all melted down to one from a sport. Think you can chop it though and file the pieces away.

I posted a thread about this and was told that as above, they are glued on. Let me know what you get!
