gear linkage ....help!?!

bent my gear linkage, am gunna try and rebend it to shape.
will this provide a solution or long term problems??

and is a 172cup linkage the same as a FF 1*2??

AND can they be purchased anywhere other than Renault as they want £37+vat??

37 +vat seems quite reasonable. Less than half the price of a plastic strip to decorate the bottom of the bumper

How did you manage to bend it? I would imagine it is the same on all the 1*2's yes as the GB's are. (ph1 might be different thinking about it :S). Anyway, either get it from one of the various "braking" threads, or go through the 'members discount' section and buy it from one of the dealers who provide discount

okie dokie, have purchased a new gear linkage and fitted it thinking 'ow its a simple bar will just bolt in', SILLY ME!!
how do you adjust the gear linkage as reverse is currently 1st?!?!

please help

fiddle with it til it works. Takes a while to realise how they function, but you'll have a moment of clarity and you'll see
