Gear Oil smell

Not sure if this is the right section but;
How do you get rid of the smell of gearbox oil?

Some spilled out from the n/s driveshaft onto a mates driveway accidentally when putting my shock back in

You'll have to let it weather away really, the additives in it are horrible the sulphur smell hangs around for a while.

erm so the outside of the car smells a biut like gearbox oil, big deal lol.

My "Justice" car jacket smells like it and It's still my favourite car job jacket lol. Manning up FTW

Okay serious suggestion, tried degreaser?

put some saw dust onit.. then powerwash ..

Just spray engine degreaser on it then either power wash it or let nature run its course.

It was covered with sand at the time & powerwashed then bleached 3 times Jay
