hi, i dont know if anyone here can give some advice, i seem to be having a few problems with my valver!
right the problem is this, well in fact its two problems
1. when i try to put it into second it can be very dificult, sometime i just have to push a bit harder, but others i have to put it into another gear, take it out and try again. i do always get there in the end though.
2. the car makes a grinding noise when puting it into third, not very bad and the car slips into 3rd smoothly, i just get this noise, exactly like when you try and go into reverse whilst still moving forwards
the strangest thing (i think) about this is that it doesnt happen all the time. somtimes its just 1, then 2 or both or neither, completely random!
have you guys got any idea what tis might be? could it be the linkage is a bit loose ir perhapse somthing more seroius
p.s. i should add that when the car is in gear i have no problems at all it is very smooth
