Gear ratio's to be changed on all new 197's

I'm not sure if this has already been posted, but it's not just the new cup that will have revised ratio's in 5th and 6th gear. All new 197's are to be revised aswell.

This is intended to reduce noise levels whilst cruising.

Yes this has already been posted. Hopefully make 6 more of motorway cruiser gear.

Been posted before yes. Some people are expecting great things from these gearing changes. lol They're going to be disappointed as the gears haven't changed that much, only 1.5mph per 1000rpm in 6th, that's only an extra 4.5 mph at 3k rpm. :S

The new 6th gear in the 197 is still shorter than 5th in the 1*2, so it's certainly not going to be a motorway cruiser, but at least it's an improvement.
