gear stick gaiter

hi all i have a ph2 172 and the gear stick gaiter is knackered does not stay in the mount/hole just flaps about after looking at it i carnt see a way of fixing it ? any1 fixed 1 or know how 2?

The two clips that hold it in are prolly snapped off, try using two small screws. Screwed from the inside, you will have to use trial & error to get them poking out enough to hold it.

you cant repair them to my knowledge, just buy a new one from Renault not that expensive iirc mate !

They are under £10 from a Renault dealer new.

They were £11 at Willy A Lewis's in Telford when I got one a while ago. Yet to ask Ad what price he charges...
