If you treat it like sh*te, then 5bhp. If you treat it properly and look after it 500bhp.

Not that matters torques the thing that actually strips gears etc.

i hope they are, mines done 72K so dont wanna be replacing it yet want at least another 30K before i change it.

I have boxes with over 160k on them, they are fine. Bit notchy into 1st when cold but they still spin the wheels in 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the wet.

However the secret to long box life is oil changes, not ramming it into gear (something clio drivers are especially good at), changing dodgy linkage bushes etc.

wel my car isen´t quite fast it runs 11,5secs to 69mph so theres no power to tare the box.
