Gearbox Clutch Cable Bracket

Afternoon,
I have a 2000 Clio Sport 2.0.
I recently had my gearbox replaced with a JC5-029.
After fitting, the clutch cable fork doesn't seem to fit/stay in the 'normal' position.
I believe that there is a missing bracket on the gearbox that holds the cable / fork in a certain way - does that make sense to anyone?
My old gearbox has been scrapped so if i need to get hold of a bracket, it won't be from there!
Anyone been involved with an oversight like this before?
Where do I get a bracket from if so? I can't see the clutch cable lasting long as it just doesn't seem to fit right - (car still engages gears though).
Any help appreciated.

Have you got the black bracket that bolts to the box a few inches to the side of the fork?

I will have a look at this. Can't remember from memory. If this is there does that mean the cable has been put in incorrectly?

My bet is you've missed the little black bracket off.
