What issue, because that's the battery bracket that stops it from moving about.

Is it the fact you can't get to it because the other bolt's in the way?

I think the fact it's the wrong bolt. Need to get something on the arch side as well. That's been "fixed" as original bolt has snapped I reckon.

It's no real different to the normal bolt but it looks like it's possibly rusted?

Best bet is to undo and get a big thick washer in between the mount and strut.

What are your views on getting a 5/7mm think square plate and weld it onto the strut ? Like a strenghening plate ?

You only need like a 3mm thick bit and doesn't need to be welded, just bolted in the middle.

Would that bolt in the pic be the reason why my battery sits like this

Slanted , if that bolt is pulled towards the outside more it would pull the battery up flat ?

Suggests one at the front isn't in maybe? Or rear of tray is broken? Need to get battery out for a proper picture?
