Gearbox oil advice!

How often should the oil be changed for the gearbox?

Every 30k or so I would imagine would be about right!

As far as I know its not part of the service plan. I change mine every year when I do my engine oil, however it seems I wasted my time because my gearbox has developed a whine anyway.

I'm also very interested to know when Renault recommended the gear oil change

Just had a quick look through my service book and can't see any mention of it.

May have missed it though

i was recomended to change it every 100000km by my local dealer, no harm done changing it every 30k or so, the more oil changes the better...
