Hi Martin thanks for the reply, had a quick look today but couldn't seem to find where to fill the gearbox oil ( it was cold and I didn't look for long ) just wondering is it a big deal to worry about? And is it worth trying to get hold of a repair kit or do it properly and fit a new one, sorry for all the questions just only had the car for a month and don't feel like destroying the gearbox on it :)

Honestly don't worry about it just keep an eye on the gear oil level, it looks worse than it actually is and not much oil is lost.

The filler plug is on the front side of the gearbox underneath the air box (which needs removing for access) the oil should be level with the bottom of the filler hole when the plug is removed.

piece of hose pipe and a funnel is your friend;)

Green wingnut is where its filled from
