Gearbox Oil

What would you recommend? Going to pick some up tomorrow but don't have any idea of what grade etc is best. If I don't get any response I'll probably end up going for the cheapest there, lol.

Royal purple but its not cheap or easy to find.
75/90 is the spec your supoiosed to use. A few people use 75/80 Milelrs (The only spec they do) without issue I used it on my Williams and it seemed better and the old oil wasn't bad so its not just like I was going from rotten oil to new stuff.

Nothing to cheap.
Royal purple only £50 or so. If I didn't have the Millers that is what I'd use.

ONLY £50, lol. No way I can pay that much tbh. I'll just see what I can get, just needed to know the best grade to use and things.

If you were local i could have done you 4 litres of Motul 75w90 for £20.

I've had a few peope recommend ATF - anyone got any opinions?

Is there much difference between different ATFs? What sort of price would I be paying for a gallon?

Also how much are you looking at spending, at a minimum, for a gallon of 75w90 oil as the guy at the factors the other day said usually you could get a gallon for about £10 but a few places I tried today were wanting at least £25. I had thought before it would be closer to £25 but after saying you could get it that cheap at the factors I'm not too sure.

ATF is a no no .... who recomemmded it some kid on a forum?
Most tr5 is good enough you can buy it in 500ml and 1 litre bottles from GSF car parts
My local factors sell 5 litres comma for £12+ vat

Thanks mate. I wanted to check about pric e as I didn't buy any when I heard they wanted £7 a litre having been told it was much cheaper than that.

As for ATF I've seen it recommended by a few people on forums, just wanted to get peoples opinions on it.
