Gearbox plastic wing nut stuck

I’m in the middle of giving my 1*2 a service and I’ve already drained my gearbox oil without checking the plastic wing nut will come off

I’ve tried a set of pliers but haven’t quite got enough room and it still seems very tight.

Any suggestions?

Something like a pipewrench? That might get in there easier with the angled head.

Ah just noticed this was three days ago.. I guess you've sorted it by now

Haha yeah thanks anyway. I just gave it a bit more welly with a hammer and it slowly came undone
