gearbox question

i killed the box on my 52 plate 172 cup. but i have been offered one from a 03 plate 172 cup, will this fit?

i have been told that i may have problems with the speedo working if its not the same type box as renault used 2 diffferent types on the cup.

not if its from another cup. If it was from a non cup you would have problems

I'm no slouch on the B roads mate, and always give it hell..

it does a lot of motorway miles though.
