gearbox question

I want to add some oil addictive to my gearbox, its got fresh gear oil, but I also now want to add some comma gearbox addictive stuff, to reduce tear and wear.

Can I add to the gearbox, without draining it ? So just like topping it up with addictice, then closing it again ? Or do I have to drain, re-ad etc ?

youll have to drain a little to allow room for the additive.

All depends in how much you've got in, and how much you want to put in!

I wouldn't bother. Especially if you have just changed the oil to fresh stuff anyway.
