Gearbox removal.

I have done a little search, i have read ben ps guide which seems pritty good.

Does the exhaust mani have to be taken off to drop the box out?

Yeah, it does. Not taken out of the bay, but unbolted and removed from the engine.

box is out, took the manifold off, wasnt too bad!

they're nowhere near the manifold though, i do have small hands mind!

No I don't think they are either, does say it in the tech manual though iirc. I've never bothered managed ok.

box is out, clutch is replaced, and the new box is in, just gotta put the maifold and starter back in, then few more bits and its ready to go.

Was gonna say, no need at all! ONly need to drop one side of the subframe too.
