Gearbox type please

Would a gearbox from a clio 172 (51) fit a Clio 172 cup (52) thank you

As in would speedo work

If you have a Ph1 172 or Ph2 172 Cup, you need a box with a speedo drive fitted to work the speedo.

If you have a Ph2 172 or 182, any 1*2 box will fit and work, no issues.

Well mine is a clio2 cup and his is a clio2 172 if I fit his gearbox to my cup it won't have a speedo

On a side note I have a recently refurbished 172 Cup gearbox for sale

have a look and check if it has speedo drive output on the top of the box (at the rear) it should be the same
