if i had my gearbox fixed under warranty in aug and my warranty rang out in end of aug is the gearbox fix have a guarantee ? reason i ask is its hard to get into first now real hard have to do second then first, just wondering if the stealers will pull my pants down or sort it lol

It think it's only under the orginal warranty, for some silly reason.

Book it in and see what they say, they contact Renault UK if there is cost to you.

I had my gearbox replaced when the car had just turned 4 years old and got Renault to pay about 60% of the costs.

The gearboxes don't seem to be holding up to well on the 1*2's once they hit 3-4 years old.

There seems to be a few you have had the gearbox problems.

My new gearbox is being a git getting into 1st and 2nd at the moe, i reckon it just the extreme coldness somehow.

yeh i drove 30 miles to my mothers came home and now its fine again smooth as you like in all gears etc, same happened two weeks ago then it went fine

its strange as, it cannot be a major prob as it woulnt just go back to normal surly? lol

nothing as strange as a rs clio lol
