Gearlever differences

Are there any major differences between the phase 1 and 2 gearlevers? Or even any difference between models?

I'm looking into changing the gearlever on my Cup and don't want to butcher the original, so it can be put back to standard at any time. There are little, if any, 172/182s in scrappies near me, but plenty of 1.2s, etc.

You can swop them yep covers will be a bit of a pain though
