gears grinding after decat on?

hi guys, i just had my decat put on the other day, and now the gears especially second are grinding or making that sort of noise.

and today i had trouble sticking it in first?

any reason for this?

the garage probably disconnected or knocked the gear linkage while messing with the exhaust it would be worth getting it looked at as this would explain the difficulty in changing gears
