Gen90 setup

Hi everyone, has anyone ever set up a gen90 from brand new as I've tried all day to get mine to connect to car but unsuccessful, I've installed and uninstalled the program's serval times and still no difference any help would be appreciated

I have had this issue, but can't for the life of me remember what I did to fix it.

I had connection issues for the first time only a few weeks ago. It's to do with the way in which it connects in settings. I don't have my laptop to hand but I do know in settings its a stupid meaningless box that's ticked and needs to be unticked if my memory serves me right
