Your question should be, what's the difference between brand a fully synthetic and brand b fully synthetic, asking about the differences in oils is a mine field, there's loads to it, does Oilman (Opie oils) frequent here, if so he's the man to tell you what you want too know.

Suffice to say though, most of the cheap brands are poor quailty oils, but don't think paying more guarantees you a better oil, because it doesn't, more often than not it buy's a better branded/marketed product.

Search out Oilman if you can.

It's full synthetic...

On a high revving or should i say free revving engine like the F4R in ours it's better in reducing friction then semi.

Full synthetic doesn't 'clean' that well, but i'd opt for full and frequent changes then semi!

Semi is also used in engines which are to be 'breaking' in... ie. new cars.

But full or semi synthetic; viscosity is the word with our RS engines.
So stick to 10w/40.

Full synthetic also keeps it's formula ie. not breaking down on high engine temp.

Bottomline is full synthetic has more Group 3 or Group 4 base oil in it then semi synthetic which has a small percentage of Group 3 base oil in it.

ps. What Chris says also...
