Geomatry set up in South East

I used to send and be sent to Elite Racing in Essex to get a good setup for suspension and overal geo setup.

Are they still the people to visit?

I know ATS and Kwik-s**t have an idiot proof system in most of their locations now, but it is still only as good as the person using it from previous experience with an idiot at Kwik-s**t...


The car is in Lewisham, not fussed about a small treck out to get it sorted, but want it sorted properly..... BMW Z4M with aftermarket suspension (I know, please don't pass judgement, it isn't my car and it doesn't matter how many times I tell him to put it back to standard he won't!!)

Mark Fish seems to be the master with this kind of thing with Clio's. Not sure about beemers though. Probably worth a phone call.

How much do you want to pay? If your pockets are cavenous then MF is fine, but otherwise Elite are still very good IMO. If you show you know what you're talking about you're more often than not allowed in the bay and to talk to them about what they're doing.

The bloke who's car it is will be taking it in there, I'm not interested in driving it as I can't afford to replace it if I break it, and my traders policy won't cover it as it's too expensive for my options... He's bought it with a nice set of CSL's on, and lowered around them by the previous owner. How much they know over M-tech about suspension is clearly obvious by the state of the inside edges of the tyres that are completely shot!!! Nice at around two hundred a tyre for the back end!! He has no knowledge of what he's talking about and probably no interest in going to see either lol

I didn't read that it was a z4m, bm sport in bexleyheath do race car setup etc.

Wheels in Motion in Chesham is who I'd use. Tony there is a wizard at setting up cars dependant on what you use it for, is happy to talk through options and explain things

He is very well regarded in MX5 circles and sets up many a race car.
