get a poping noise on a short blast

Iv noticed when i take the car on a short blast mainly 1st gear i get afew poping noises. Anyone have any idea wat it cud be? Its sometimes 3 in a row pop pop pop

It's to do with timing and fueling on overrun, stuff that being a final year automotive engineering student I really should know more about :S. Could be leaking exhaust too but unlikely. My Valver does it and it is immense.

yes, but need to find out all the symtoms, find out if its exhaust or engine fault.
They didnt seems to keen to fix faults just the leak.

might be your engine mounts, i thought my car was popping flames when i first got it. Turned out 3 out of 4 of my mounts were completely ruined lol.
