****gettin to the battery ****

hey i am trying to get my amp setup , but how the feck can i get the power lead to the battery , i cant find n e where big enough for the power cable to go through the chassi, is there n e wher on my clio it could go or shall i just drill a hole, really dont wanna start doing that later 1 though, n e help would b much appreciated

The one thing i forgot to put in the FAQ!!!

ok open your passenger door, look where the bonnet release cable goes in to the firewall.

see the grommet it passes through? good.

remove the gromet and make a hole in it big enough to pass the amp cable through. (if your using massive cable you may have trouble)

connect to battery- done.

u av got to be joking just had a go, i just cant get to it, its down really low, and it wont even pop out, its all hidin like under the power steering fluid tank, n e ideas, u r definatly tellin me from a mk 2 phase 1 clio yer

take the tank off it pops of well easy

(dont undo the hoses just let it hang)

it is very easy to get cabling through there

i have got 4ga cabling going through, i think 2ga would be pretty straight forward, as for 0ga, maybe not

hmm i had another go last nite, cant seem to get the power steering tank off, without breaking it, n e ideas, cheers

if urs is the same as my RT then go to the passenger footwell and jus behind the carpet is a gromet nice and big this leads below the coolant bottle!

i got a 4ch amp so my power cable is fat as! so urs should fit fine!
