Getting at the Hub to change bearings

  rsi
A local garage said to me if i take the ub to him he will press the bearings in for a tenner, instead of the £100 he will charge me if he does all the work.

What i need to know is what i actually need to do.

So far i have >>wheel off>>person stamping on the brakes, axel nut off>>caliper off>>disk off...so i am here..

what do i need to do now, is it just undo>>

and>>

Then does it just pull off??

any help appreciated...

yeah do the shock absorber bolts, put a jack under the steering track rod end and support it then undo that bolt. you also need to take out the bolt under the hub in the balljoint and get the balljoint out the hub, easy if you've got a balljointer splitter, then bash the hub away from the driveshaft

Which area is this garage, and i take it you have all the parts??

When you put it all back together use some thread lock on the nuts, also use a new axel nut, or cake it in threadlock.
