Getting back songs to an ipod.

Basically I wanted to add a song, but as i've not a clue what I am doing with this Ipod, i clicked something which has deleted everything on the Ipod so it's left with nothing

Is there a way to get these back on?

I imagine there from a different iTunes library and it was originally synced with a different one.

If all songs are on iTunes just sync and should all go on!

what do you mean? when I plug it into the computer, it comes up with a window showing the songs I had, which I've now deleted so its blank. not sure what i've click but everything inc pics have been deleted

Did you buy the iPod new?
Have you got iTunes on your computer?

So do you have all the music showing in your iTunes library? Not on the iPod but the actual library at the top of the list on the right?
