Getting started mapping aftermarket management

That piston picture is so confidence inspiring ;)

I was trying to write the article from the point of view of people staying safe with their engines when learning to map, so I figured a picture showing what might happen if they get it wrong might help them concentrate, lol

I reckon every article about how to drive fast on track should likewise picture a crash, lol

Chip did you not just say advance till about 40deg or till you det whichever comes first and fill fuelling map will a desktop cal of some sensible values and allow closed loop to look after the rest LOL!!

PS ill let you in on a secret about me, my first love is actually vauxhalls from "when I was a young fella" :p mainly the nova because of its rally heritage in Ireland and NOT its chav status over here!! lol so by the looks of things we share more in common than we think lol

VERY few mint GTE's left now, so many of them either rust away, smacked up or just chavved beyond redemption.

Sign up on VauxSport.com and post some pics of your nova there :)

Chips Nova is awesome, so awesome in fact it nearly wasn't allowed back into the UK once.

Ha ha! That's going back a bit, must be about ten years ago now j?

Four damn hours it took to clear customs in it which involved waiting for a copper from England to come across the chAnnel tunnel and inspect it!
