girlfriends insurance

renewed her insurance today, she has 1yrs n.c on a mazda 121.

did it with hastings. when she first filled in her details she put her emploment status as a retails assistant and it came up about 900ish.

she then changed it to retails assistant in a food store, which is a closer match and it dropped all the way down to 550.

why is this?

Makes a huge difference. If I put down I work in a bookmakers or as a cashier is a fair bit more expensive than putting down customer service assistant.

My actual job title on my employment contract is CSA (customer service assistant) so who am I to argue.

thats the 1st iv heard of this, why should it make a differance. I just put nhs staff on mine, but they never askd me.
