Girlfriends new car!! Help needed

My girlfriend has about £11000 to spend on a new motor. I am trying to convince her to spend her cash on a Clio 182 as she really likes driving my 172. But she is also keen on the Type R's and the Ibiza Cupra's. All three are great cars and as I haven't test drove the CTR or Ibiza was looking for some advice.

In your honest opinion what should she get?.....(In my opion there is only one option!!! the Clio )

I test drove a Leon Cupra R and a Civic Type R on Saturday.

Needless to say I'm a VTEC addict and its coming soon.

{Edit} And before anyone harps on about blah blah blah this, I personally think the Honda is an excellent car and is a worthy replacement to my Cup 172.

Cupra all day every day, wouldn't even doubt it.

You already drive a clio, so get her to try something different...

Yeha but why not get summat different then you can swap and share with her?
E.g you have 172 she CTR/ LCR/Ibiza Cupra? best of both then?

My mates Cupra R is lovely, I would get one if I could afford to run it. MPG is killing him, but ofcourse I would pick the 182 FF.

THe Cupra is an awesome piece of kit! As said you already have an RS so get some variety!

I found the Ibiza Cupra more responsive and gave better feedback than the CTR the Leon Cupra R is the shiznet tho!

I'd get the Cupra because of its tuning capabilities, and because its different to the Clio..Mix and match!

I suggested the Leon R but she ain't keen on them. A freind had one and was an awesome bit of kit but the MPG was a nightmare. Not many Ibiza R's about????

you have a 172, so your get the best of both worlds...whatever she buys! you get to drive 2 mint cars!

dont worry bout it mate my mate bought a v6 and i bought a cup look identical colour. got a bit of stick off every1 his and hers an all that. bo**ox to them

I'd drop the Seat off the list quick I didn't like it handling is nothing like a 172/182.

No, it doesn't handle and ride is crap. Engine might be powerful but has not character whatsover. Typical VAG car.

I almost got a CTR has my family are Honda fans. It is a great car to sit in and with the great gearbox you really feel the part but then if you drive one and a ITR the difference is immense. So on that basis, why not a DC5 Integra?
