Giving it the beans?

  Black 182 FF
I try not to, but I'm often pushing it to get to work as I only live 4 miles away or so and often leave it late, but the route I take out of the village is ideal territory for the car - twisty, small, windy, hilly back roads about a mile out of the village (60 limit), with very little traffic on, so I give it more than I should too often before it's fully warmed up - plus there's too often people trying to take it's scalp going that way.

I know I shouldn't and I should let it warm up more - but then it's a toy rather than a nessecity and it doesn't half make me smile.

How does it make no sense, you drive a diesel currently no?

Most diesels i've driven have the limiter before 5k, where as the powerband in the cliosports actually starts at around 5k.

Hence why I said I can see why your struggling, your powerband is like what 2.5k to 4k?

WTF has my diesel got to do with anything? I mean your comment about Clio's not being designed to rev below 5k. Or do you mean nothing happens below 5k.

Anyone who drives all the time with their Clio revving above 5k is an c**k!

Just so you know, I owned a CS.

Keyboard warrior alert, chill out tbh.

I meant nothing happens before 5k, figure of speech.. they are pretty fooking boring before before 5k, admitedly not as gutless as an Ep3 but still pretty bad.

Can you not see the sarcasm in this thread mate? I don't think anyone drives above 5k all the time but why have a clio sport that the powerband IS above 5k if you dont go above it?, oh and nor does anyone "Put full lock on everytime turning out of a junction" (another post in this thread)

Yeah keyboard warrior, ok. Your comments are not clear. And yes, Clios are very gutless. I now get what you meant.

I'm no friend of you as clearly you think driving like a tw*t all the time is cool. I love seeing guys like you pulled over at the side of the road with Police having you.

Do you seriously drive like that all the time?

Just to be understood, giving it the beans is fine when the conditions are right. Everyone does that. Anyone that drives like this all the time, through busy traffic or in dodgy conditions that put other road users at risk are c***s. So clearly, if you give it the beans all the time, you are a c**k.

Pretty much most of the time, be useless having a performance car which revs to 7800 (after remap) if I didn't wouldn't it.

Usually everyday tbh. So much fun, my route to work s quality as well s its so hard to resist the temptation.

lol +1

my route to work entails all dual carriagways/short motorways and 6 roundabouts in total that are either straight accross or third/ first exists..
