Glass scratches

Car  BG Clio 182
Few scratches in the window's like really light ones really unoticeable but I'm a saddo so it bugs me. Anything that's gonna bring them out? Cheers.

I've got a deep one from the one day of frost we had in January and a bit of grit got caught in my ice scraper :(

Would the glass polish help at all?

I don't think so. I have had the driver window replaced in my Subaru due to 'deep' scratches (you can lightly feel them when rubbing your finger over them) and ordering a passenger one shortly for the same reason. Not bloody cheap either, £170!

you can buy a scratch doctor kit have a look on youtube, you need a drill, i have been told by people in the trade that this removes scratches that are deep etc

If it's that bad you can feel it with your finger you've no chance of polishing it out , not even using specialised glass polishes like jewelers rouge , cerium oxide etc .... I've tried , and it made little impact on the scratch .

This. I use a specialist for window scratches, he has all the kit, and he said that if you can feel it with a fingernail, there is no chance of getting it out.

Exactly this. You'll spend £75 on products or a specialist and they might not even touch it.

This is no better than the headlights with a drill "trick". You have no idea of speed or heat you're creating with this method and are far more likely to damage the laminated glass than correct it. I'd avoid if I were you, Ads.
