Think I'll 50/50 this with Done&Dusted over my 50/50 set up of Spirit vs Satsuma Rock so I have a quarter of each combination!

Anyway a general starting picture of the car. I'm afraid it's been under a car cover for 4 months so is hardly dirty! Back on the roads tomorrow

Started on the bonnet as always, hard to get 'during' pictures so it's all after ones!

This was perfect timing though, currently moving out and literally had 90 minutes free for a quick wash. Question is can I ever go back to polishing now! So easy to use, a real joy... plus that smell! Tried licking my wing mirrors at one point. Obviously the next day it started raining, as it always does after a wash, and here I think is where you can tell the difference between a real polish/wax as it's not quite as impressive.

For the time it took though, really good. Also great value for money as this is how much I used for the whole car!

To be honest if I had more time I would have probably spent a bit longer with it, but with so much left over I'll definitely be using the product again for quick washes. Definitely added to my itiniery  thanks @Auto Finesse

One question: Is this okay to use on windows?

IMG_2164_zps3fhxgew7.jpg

Then apply glisten it's self it's so easy just spray work in and buff off i even over applied to see if it would get a bit grabby but it doesn't

IMG_2173_zpswtdilloe.jpg

overall i think it's a great for adding that extra little shine after a quick wash and didn't use much at all and i went across the whole car. It looks and smells amazing maybe make a glisten air freshener? ;) some after pics :

Sure I posted my review in here?

anyway I received my samples from auto finesse

I could only review the glisten sample unfortunately!

I washed my car using the 2 bucket meathod ad using auto finesse lather, car was then towel dried and the bonnet and bootlid were cleaned with some eraser to make sure there was no contaminents from other products.

image.jpg1.jpg

product was misted on to the panels and then spread with a microfiber and buffed with a microfiber, the product went on easy and I actually changed my technique to spraying it directly on to a microfiber and then wiping that over the panel it seemed to apply more even.

image.jpg2.jpg

its massively easy to use and I found that after I had buffed it and went back an hour later and gave another buff it seemed to look better....

finally a water behaviour shot
image.jpg4.jpg

I will update this in a couple days as it needs another was and see how well the product remains on the car, one thing to note it made the paint feel really smooth and friction free!

Due to being an idiot I got my days mixed up. Very sorry for posting this a day late @Auto Finesse.

Anyway, the car was given a good decontamination, cleanse and protection two or three weeks ago and so was a decent base to test glisten on.

Rinsed to remove the little dirt it accumulated and then Washed with lather

I thought I'd test glisten as a drying aid, sprayed on half the bonnet, bumper and passenger side wing while still wet.

Then with the hose sprayer on a few different settings I found it to be quite effective, with the glistened side holding onto less water than the un glistened side.

Just a mist with the hose gave brilliant beading too!

It goes on and comes off no problem despite the warm panel, but then I was using it as a wax on, wax off type product.

All in, I think this is a great product, it's a shame I'm all out of finale to test it against but as I'm long overdue buying some products from auto finesse, a full size bottle of glisten will be taking finales place.

As a drying aid and protection top up, it's brilliant.

I got good results compared to some people in this thread, I'm putting that down to the car still wearing spirit. I'm not sure whether the other users had other lsp, or no lsp but this seems to work amazingly over a decent lsp.

Did yours have a wax on it already? Just wondering why some of us are getting better beading than others... mine wasn't waxed for 4 months before I used Glisten. Looks great anyway man! Liquid Yellow ftw.

Yeah it's got spirit on from the last test. And it's only been used a few times in between.

Also, how did you apply it? I'm out arm so could only quickly skim through your post.

Cheers  I still need to spend a couple of days on it as its developed a fair few swirls 😧

firstly thanks @Auto Finesse for another months test, additionally thanks Aaron for the extra couple of days.
Glisten is the product this month and having used it today, wow this and the recent wheel soap will definately be purchased, love both products.

The car hasnt been washed since last months spirt test, so was looking worse for it, having washed and dried it the wax was still beading nicely and car came up nice as usual.

near on impossible to get any progress pics, however what a easy and quick product, couple of mists wipe on, wipe off. literally round the car in no time at all. Having noted others experiences i gave the car a quick 2nd coat and was still left with 2/3 a bottle.

time will tell how long this lasts, however for the time it takes to apply you could easily add this into a weekly/bi-weekly wash routine.

for anyone short of time and not having the hour or so to wax, Glisten is definately worth a high recommendation.

Sadly I don't think this would be enough to take people away from the likes of Reload, c2v3 and BSD etc!

Looking at the pics it looks to bead ok, but not as good as others (Hydro2 for example).

How long is it lasting for?

Between 4-6 weeks. It's technically just a wax enhanced QD rather than a Spray Wax IMO! Lovely to use though, I'm pretty pleased with it.

Ideal for use during maintenance washes to add a little extra protection.

100% agree mate, but it's not really marketed as a sealant. It lasts 4-6 weeks in comparison to C2V3 which I've seen last well over 6 months.

This just seems like an improved finale to me.

The beading is certainly improved over finale, it smells better, just as easy to apply and it sheets so much better, allowing it to be used as a drying aid as well as a final wipedown product with some protection added.

Sorry for the slightly late review, been a bit tied up with work and college.

Wash the car a couple of weeks back with Lather and dried the car off with my towel. I then applied Glisten to only the bonnet as I could get a good idea of how it compares to the rest of my car as it's lacking any wax at the moment.

Took some photo's with glisten applied, I'm sure you can agree that it give a brilliant shine, almost mirror like!

And with it being Yorkshire, it typically rained the next day....I've done a couple of comparison shots with the roof to give an idea of how well it beads

Overall I'd say it's brilliant if you needed to top up your existing protection as it clearly aids beading, also it would work great as a quick detailer providing a great shine.
