So I'm sorting out the niggly bits with the Clio, some bright spark has bust the plastic hinge the runs the full width of the lid. I've had a look and seen that it's a pretty poor design, and is just a thin bit of plastic that is rivetted onto the bottom of the dash.
I can see the only way to fix it is to drill out the rivets, find a donor car, drill out the rivets and remove the glovebox/hinge all at once. Then either rivet / self tap it onto my car.
Do glovebox lids come up for sale often, are there any better fixes?
