go lower?

hi all, im new to the clio scene, just got mine on sunday and its the most fun iv had (had a 200hp mk1 golf and a classic impreza b4 this).

love the way it handles and is so forgivable and chuckable, only thing im thinking of doing it lowering it slightley.. if i lower it will it ruin the handling?? i wouldnt want it any lower than -25mm or so.

what u think?

thanks,matt

lowering will improve the handling mate,

however everyone will tell you that you wont notice -25mm, so its probably bes to go 40/60 (and just dont be intimidated by the hundreds of people telling you that you MUST drop it like 100mm)

There will be varying opinions on this, no one will tell you to go ultra low if you want handling cos it wont work. The springs route, the general concensus is for eibach sportline or proline these will lower between 15 -25mm but the ride is very nice. 40mm apex srings look nice but the ride is very harsh ( i had these). Then there is the coilover route, there are many makes out now depending on price and what you want.
