Not really sure if this is the right section. maybe other marques but this will do.
My Brother went to start his car this morn, turn the key, all the electrics come on (radio etc, clock reset itself)
But the engine wont tick over or so anything just silent.
Similar thing happened in my clio and i just had to clean two connector pins of rust etc and it was fine but not sure with the golf.
I've told him to phone RAC as he's with them but he's meant to be going on a driving hol with his bird tomorrow.
Anyone got any ideas.
