I'm about to buy the following...

Meguiars Quik Clay kit
Chemical Guys - Maxi Suds II
Clearkote Vanilla Moose Wax Hand Glaze
Poorboys EX-P Sealant
Poorboys Nattys Paste Wax Blue

Would you say that this is a good combo???

Also I'm interested to know how long this stuff will last me?

I know it's extremely difficult to say but I obviously don't want to be paying £60 on cleaning goods every month!

I nearly always wash my car once week...

Cheers

Great combo use to use it all the time with P21s rather than Nattys on my old 205 and 306s. - http://www.pughosting.co.uk/205GTIRegister/xsipage/xsi.html

Wont give much more than 30 days protection though. EX-p is not that durable at the best of time less so over the oily VM glaze.

So would I get better protection if I bought AG EGP and AG SRP rather than VM glaze and EX-P or is it the wax thats the problem?

Any idea about what towels I should buy and how may I will need to do the job???

I already have a lambswool mitt and waffel drying towel...

I have a platinum grey car btw!

Thanks for all your help :)

Cheers

SRP and EGP give proper protection, EX-p and Nattys lack that sort of durability.

After SRP and EGP you can always a wheel sealant as well for additional looks and protection. Towels wise I use Pakshak Ultras for wheels etc, saving the better ones for paintwork.

Thanks mate...

Sounds like SRP and EGP are the best products to go for...

If Natty's isn't ideal then what would be a better option (I'm not looking to spend a lot). Something thats easy to work with would also be great!

I'm not difficult to please haha!

LOL Sorry chap I have REALLY lost the plot, thought this was the thread about wheels, damn it is Monday!

SRP, EGP and your Nattys will be fine.

Hahaha...Don't worry mate!

While we're talking about wheels would Natty's work well on alloys or would I be much better buying an actual wheel Sealant?

Proper wheel sealant for sure on the wheels. Natty's will soon give up on them. Though SRP and EGP alone will be fine.

I use SRP followed by CG Wheel Guard, then somtimes a sealant and/ or Collinites 476. Main thing is that they are always shining and easy to clean.

Alternatively, buy some black alloys!

I used SRP & EGP on my paintwork last week for the first time - really good results :)

My car is black
